FC Magik narrowly lost 5-4 to the Aztecs in their first competitive match against the Premier League side, delivering an impressive performance despite the defeat. Magik showed attacking intent throughout and pushed their opponents hard, particularly after the break. The visitors came close to turning the game around in a dominant second half, creating several opportunities to level the score. “We almost got them in the second half. We could’ve scored more” said the Magik coach. “We need to be more composed and clinical in the final third.” Despite the loss, Magik’s performance offered plenty of encouragement.
